I’m the Practice Lead for the Projects & Product division at Method, focussing on Melbourne’s tech market. I get a lot of satisfaction out of helping deliver businesses – both start-ups and mid-size corporate – the right people to help them transform and engage with their customer base in the digital century. I view Product Management and Business Analysis as critical functions in helping companies understand where they (and their customers) are and where they need to get to. On the other hand, Project and Change Management are essential in delivering business transformation and taking both people and systems along for the journey. The shift to agile and iterative delivery over the past 5 years has been positive not only for improved software development, but in transforming the way that teams and businesses collaborate – when implemented with the right motivation and executive buy-in.
